I would like to thank all of you who have contributed jokes, trivia and stories to this site over the past nine years. This page began it's life in 2000 as part of a university project. It was reborn as part of this site on November 29, 2002. It is not my intention to duplicate other sites but to try to archive some of the historical happenings in this area in my lifetime. Other sites that compliment this one will be added as links on this page, or on the Detroit page. There are several other Detroit sites that detail different perspectives and development in the Detroit area, and they provide an excellent backdrop of the rich history of the Southeast Michigan area.
